Apollo has been active in the e-health sector through Business Development & Networking solutions based on innovative It & Communication Systems. We provide Digital Organization, Business Networking & Marketing solutions, to Patients and Health Providers. We market modern tools and methods based on innovative information and communication technologies, creating flexible, scalable and functional systems that upgrade health services.

Apollo is a pioneer in the field of interoperability and in the analysis and management of practices for the optimal development of the Electronic Health Record.

Apollo Is a founding member and actively participates in the boards of HL7 Hellas (www.hl7.org.gr) & the Hellenic Association of Health Informatics (ESPY www.espy.org.gr). We are also a strategic partner of Open Health Alliance (OHA www.ohanet.gr) and Asklepieia Health Cluster (www.asklepieiahealth.com), being actively involved in the management of each organisation’s operations. We participate in National & European EHealth Programs such as E-PSOS (European Patients Smart Open Services), CALLIOPE (CALL for InterOPErability) & ANTILOPE (Advancing eHealth Interoperability) and we cooperate with WHO providing expert advisory services.

Lithuania Interoperability HL7 Apollo

Apollo provided consultancy and strategic guidance on performance, storage evaluation and optimization of HL7-FHIR use to enhance and improve operation of the Lithuanian national Electronic Health Services Information System “Elektroninės sveikatos paslaugų ir bendradarbiavimo infrastruktūros informacinės sistemos” (ESPBI IS), based on best practice.

Support to Health Sector Reform in Cyprus - Cyprus WHO
Cyprus Interoperability HL7

Apollo provided consultancy to support the design of the Health IT strategy to achieve nationwide availability and utilization of IHIS and its efficient use by all public sector health providers, managers, analysts and policy makers within the Government of Cyprus.
Participate in and contribute, to processes that determine, articulate and quantify the Functional Requirements of the IHIS to accommodate all new requirements of the health sector reform, expand its availability and use within the public sector nationwide, and ensure that it is functioning effectively.

Servia Interoperability HL7 Apollo

Apollo provided consultancy in support to practical application of the Health Level 7 (HL7) standards framework in the context of developing national health information systems and direct assistance and support to the EU-IHIS (WHO/UNOPS Project) development team.
Specifically, Apollo helped by:
  • Setting up the specific framework for HL7 adoption.
  • Providing expertise in aligning the concrete EHR implementation.
  • Proposing technical solutions.
  • Providing expertise in defining requirements and implementation approaches

Interoperability infrastructure in 19 hospitals of the public sector
Αthens Interoperability HL7 Apollo

Apollo expands the interoperability project by adding 19 more hospitals in 3 different Regional Health Administrations of the Greek National Health System.
The project implements the interconnection of below systems:
  • HIS (Hospital Integrated Information System)
  • LIS (Laboratory Information System)
Apollo becomes the interoperability expert in Greece with significant experience in the implementation of integration engines with technological excellence. Since the completion of this project, Apollo is in a position to provide consultation to other countries and provide its unique expertise to solve complex interoperability issues.

NHS Greece
Interoperability infrastructure in 18 hospitals of the public sector
Thessaloniki Interoperability HL7 Apollo

Apollo undertakes the supply of interface software and the execution of complete interoperability projects for 18 Hospitals in three (3) Regional Health Administrations of the Greek National Health System.
The project implements the interconnection of below systems:
  • ERP (Administrative – Financial system)
  • HIS (Hospital Integrated Information System)
  • LIS (Laboratory Information System)
The interface system - using the Rhapsody Integration Engine - implements the interface of the aforementioned systems and improves the management and implementation of interfaces and messaging for each Hospital and Regional Health Administrations.
The project is designed to help everyday interaction of the hospitals with more than 2.000.000 local habitants.
